Explain that there are 7 days
in a week.
Give handouts
that they will work on.
Color the following days with
appropriate colors: Yellow for Sunday, Green for Monday, Blue for Tuesday,
Red for Wednesday, Pink for Thursday, Brown for
Friday, and Violet for Saturday.
Explain
that every week has 7 days. And they all start with capital letters.
Post a chart
on the board and read each day to the students.
Read the days of the week again
and have students repeat them in unison or name them as you point to them.
Ask them on what are they doing
in Sunday?
On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
and Friday?
What about on Saturday?
Explain that every Sunday some
Christian families go to Church to pray.
On Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, children go to school.
Some Muslim families also go to
Mosque to pray every Friday.
On Saturday,
we stay at home and rest.
